Xpecunia Nordic AB (publ) intends to change its company name to Creturner Group AB (publ). Furthermore, the Group intends to appoint Joakim Erlandson as new CEO. Current CEO Daniel Moström will take over as Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The shift marks the focus on environmental technology in terms of both digital and offset. The company's operations rest on four areas, two forming the base of the company and two forming the growth focus.
The reason for the name change is that the Board considers that Xpecunia as a name is dated, associated with aspects that do not adequately describe the breadth of today's activities. The name Creturner Group more clearly summarises that the company operates in environmental technology with both digital activities in a climate-smart way and environmental technology in climate offset as well as cutting-edge technological development. With this change, the company is also marking a path of continued growth in one of the most important issues of our time.
Joakim Erlandson is appointed as the incoming CEO. Joakim is CEO of the recently acquired Creturner International and the Board finds it appropriate to mark that the overall focus on environmental technology is carried by a new CEO. Joakim Erlandson, has a long background in sales and finance related media and has a good track record of delivering results in concept and relationship selling. He has also studied environmental issues in higher education.
Current CEO Daniel Moström is proposed to take over as Chairman of the Board to work on the continued strategic and commercial international development of the Group and with special responsibility for the technical development.
The base of Xpecunia, the digital business remains completely unchanged and is coordinated under the business area HPC - High Performance Computing. The in-house energy is an associated base business where the company has built its own solar fields which are in the top 10 largest in Sweden.
The environmental technology activities of the recently acquired Creturner International AB are conducted under the Climate Offset business area. The area is expected to have significant development with international potential with a fast, modern and accurate carbon capture method that has groundbreaking properties.
The technical research aimed at developing a residual heat-driven reactor for active carbon capture is conducted as an R&D project within Creturner International AB.
After registration of the name change, the company will change its website to www.creturner.com the old address will be forwarded to the new one. All historical information will be available there after the name change is registered. The short name of the share will be changed and the date will be announced when NGM - Nordic Growth Market has announced final circumstances for this. The CFI and ISIN codes will not change.
A call for an Extraordinary General Meeting will be issued shortly to implement the change.
