ZymIQ has received an additional order within the military and defense segment. This order includes both Kalzyme™ K9 for military service dogs and CombatClean™ Enzyme Tab for soldiers. Both dental care products were launched in February at the Enforce Tac – Law Enforcement and Defence fair in Nürnberg, Germany, which hosted around 19,000 visitors from more than 50 countries.

Kalzyme™ K9 is a specially formulated dental spray for military and service dogs. The product is developed to reduce bacteria that adhere and cause plaque, tartar, and bad breath. Military working dogs assist armed forces personnel with tasks ranging from patrols to detecting explosives and carrying out other specialized missions. Each dog is assigned a handler, and together they form a unit. It is the dog handler’s responsibility to maintain the dog’s oral health and ensure that the dog can work effectively.

CombatClean™ Enzyme Tab is an enzyme tablet that dissolves in the mouth and is developed to clean teeth, reduce plaque, and provide fresh breath. It supports a balanced oral bacteria flora for long-term good oral hygiene and can be seen as a complement to regular tooth brushing. The need for effective oral care in the military is substantial. Poor dental health is a well-documented, non-combat-related medical issue in military contexts that can significantly impair operational capability and cause personal suffering. With CombatClean™ Enzyme Tab, there is now for the first time a gentle enzyme tablet with clinically proven tooth brushing effect, which cleans the entire mouth in challenging situations where neither water nor a toothbrush is available.

"Our strength in being able to deliver a complete solution for both dog handlers and their dogs gives us confidence in the future within the military and public safety sector”, says Michael Edelborg Christensen in a statement.
