ZymIQ has received a lot of attention since the launch of its enzyme-based lozenge, CombatClean, in February this year. It has previously been delivered and distributed to a number of NATO countries in Europe. Interest from the rest of the market for the lozenge has been great and there has been a demand for a similar consumer product. The company has now decided to launch DentaPrev™ Clean Teeth Enzyme Tab. Work is currently underway to develop several different flavors and packaging alternatives.
ZymIQ has therefore appointed Jörgen Thunholm as Supply Chain Director. Jörgen most recently comes from Oterra, where he has been Head of Operations Northern Europe in recent years. Jörgen will be part of the group's management team and report to CEO Michael Edelborg Christensen. He will take up the position on October 6, 2025.
“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Jörgen to ZymIQ. His deep knowledge of production and the supply chain makes him a perfect addition to the management team. I look forward to how his insights and experiences will sharpen our international growth and continued development,” says CEO Michael Edelborg Christensen.
Jörgen Thunholm has many years of experience from manufacturing, primarily in the food industry, and a solid background in supply chain. He has previously been Site Director at Arla, Manufacturing Manager at Semper, and Manufacturing Director Nordic at Cloetta, responsible for products such as Läkerol, Brio, and Ahlgrens Bilar.
Over the years, he has particularly focused on efficient production with the goal of increasing value for the entire business.
“After following ZymIQ for a few years, I am impressed by how the company has developed its product portfolio. In connection with their international expansion, manufacturing and logistics will be extremely important. The next phase will be the scaling up of production and building the strategy around how the future logistics chain will be made more efficient,” comments Jörgen Thunholm.
