Life science company ZymIQ Technology AB, which develops innovative enzyme-based products, announces today that the company has secured the first orders for Combat Clean™, an enzyme lozenge developed for improved oral health within the defense and security sector.
With its unique toothbrushing effect, Combat Clean™ is a groundbreaking innovation with the potential to revolutionize dental care for soldiers in the field, where maintaining good oral hygiene can otherwise be difficult. The lozenge contains enzymes that gently clean the mouth and break down plaque and bacteria.
"It is incredibly gratifying that we have received our first orders in this segment, where the interest has been great during the evaluation period. This is just the beginning of our commercial journey with Combat Clean™ and also paves the way for other business segments. I expect more orders to follow throughout the year", says Michael Edelborg Christensen, CEO of ZymIQ.
The need for effective dental care in the military is significant. Poor dental health is a well-documented non-battlefield-related medical issue within the military that can seriously disrupt operational ability and cause personal suffering. With Combat Clean™ there is now, for the first time, a gentle and clinically proven effective lozenge that cleans the entire mouth in challenging situations when neither water nor a toothbrush is available.
The Enforce Tac - Law Enforcement and Defence trade fair in Nürnberg, Germany, enforcetac.com, with approximately 19,000 visitors from more than 50 countries, brings together stakeholders within defense and security. During the event, there was significant interest in Combat Clean™ and ZymIQ received the company's first orders from three different distributors in the NATO countries France, Spain, and Greece, who are working with the respective countries' armed forces.
“It is incredibly rewarding to work with a product that is innovative and truly useful. Everyone understands the benefits of Combat Clean™ and it has been received with raised eyebrows and smiles", says Einar Cronstedt, North Code, ZymIQ's representative in the defense and security sector.
