ZymIQ Technology AB has signed an exclusive distribution agreement for its animal health products with the Thai company Vet AgriTech CO Ltd.

This year, ZymIQ has begun the internationalization of its animal health product range. Earlier this year, launches took place in countries including Denmark for private pet owners under the brand Kalzyme™, and in Hungary under the brand CombatClean™ K9 for military dogs. The next step in this process is now being taken with the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement for the first Asian country, Thailand, with Vet AgriTech for Kalzyme™. The agreement follows extensive testing and evaluations over recent years conducted through veterinarians and pharmacies in the Southeast Asian market.

Kalzyme™, already an established brand in the Swedish market, offers a range of enzyme-based dental and dermal products with clinically proven effects, developed by researchers and veterinarians to offer safe and effective health products that promote good health in dogs and cats.

Vet AgriTech operates in the manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceuticals and products for animals, covering both livestock and pets. The company was founded in 1995, has a turnover of approximately 1.9 billion THB (approx. 570 MSEK), and employs over 300 people. The company already represents other major international brands in animal health in Thailand.

Kong Nontapatamadul, CEO of Vet AgriTech CO Ltd, comments: “We find that ZymIQ works very professionally with its innovative products, and together we will bring great value to pet owners in Thailand going forward.”

“Securing an agreement with a well-established company in animal health in a country with over 70 million people, where more than 40% of households own a dog and cat, feels extremely positive. Our new agreement with Vet AgriTech is clear evidence that our product portfolio is highly attractive both to the veterinary profession and to distributors outside the Nordic region,” says Michael Edelborg Christensen, CEO of ZymIQ.
