Annehem Fastigheter AB (publ) enters its fourth year as a green share on Nasdaq Stockholm following S&P Global Rating's annual review of the company's sustainability work. The label is proof that more than 50 percent of Annehem's turnover derives from activities that are green and that the business carries out a significant proportion of green investments. Annehem was one of the first companies to receive the Nasdaq Green Equity Designation 2022.
"Sustainability is an important driving force that permeates our property business. Nasdaq's green designation highlights our commitment to the sustainable transition and makes it easier for investors to actively choose a company that contributes to achieving our common climate goals. I am delighted that we are now entering yet another year as a green-labelled share." says Monica Fallenius, CEO of Annehem Fastigheter.
Every year, S&P Global Ratings conducts a review of the company's sustainability work. The outcome of the review in 2024 showed that 73 per cent of the rental value and 83 per cent of the fair value of properties is green, according to the review. Read the report here.
"Our high sustainability performance confirms that our sustainable management delivers results. We work diligently and continuously to strengthen our property portfolio through energy measures, climate adaptation, and environmental certification. As a result of our efforts, we reduced energy consumption by 4 percent in 2024 compared to 2023. We have solar installations on four of our properties and plan for more. Additionally, the share of green lease agreements in Sweden has increased from 35 percent to 44 percent, which is a result of our property managers actively proposing green agreements to both existing and new tenants." says Christin Hertzberg, Head of Sustainability at Annehem Fastigheter.
