Saab has extended its lease agreement with Annehem Fastigheter in Ljungbyhed Park by ten years. The lease covers approximately 5000 sqm. In connection with the contract extension, the property will be modernized with focus on reducing energy consumption.
Saab has been active in Ljungbyhed Park since 1998 and carries out maintenance and modifications on aircraft and components. Their long-term presence in Ljungbyhed Park contributes to the unique cluster that exists for innovation, research and education in the park.
"Ljungbyhed is an excellent location for the operations we conduct, both in terms of the infrastructure that the airport offers and the proximity to other operations and expertise in the development of the aviation industry. Annehem supports our future transition and development in Ljungbyhed Park," says Jonas Sjöberg, Site Manager at Saab in Ljungbyhed.
In addition to Saab, there are several different players who have education and innovation in aviation as a common denominator, amongst others Lund University.
