Medclair has been recognised in a report from the renowned German research institute Öko-Institut. The report, titled "Assessing Nitrous Oxide Emissions from Product Use", highlights the climate impact of nitrous oxide (NO) across various sectors and identifies solutions for reducing emissions.
Medclair is highlighted as the leading provider in Europe for safe and sustainable management of medical nitrous oxide. The report presents Medclair's systems - including the MDU and CDU - as proven technologies already in use to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the healthcare sector.

The climate impact of Nitrous oxide is approximately 273 times more than carbon dioxide and, according to the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), accounts for around 6% of global warming. Despite this, emissions from healthcare, recycling, and other industries have received limited attention. The report from Öko-Institut underscores the urgent need for regulation and the implementation of technical solutions - an area where Medclair is already contributing with proven results.
