Meltron has just received a first order of its Pylon Lights for the Nuclear Power Industry in Finland. Long periods of reviews and visits have preceded this prestigious test order and confirms the quality and the industrial interest of our lights. In this particular case, which is an indoor application in one of the bigger halls of the plant, we made adjustments and special configurations of the lights to meet requirements of robustness in the demanding environment.
- This first, small order is again a confirmation of the quality and robustness of our products, says Ville Sistonen, CEO of Meltron. The power industry in general and the nuclear plants in particular have very high quality demands and we see now a great potential in many similar applications, given the international and uniform character of this industry. Other applications are under discussion with the same customer.
Meltron has also just received a medium sized order (approx. 50 k€) for lighting to a music hall in Jyväskylä in Finland. This is both for general lightning purposes as well as for service bridges where blue light is dominating. The order includes sophisticated control equipment. Meltron has previously delivered to other similar buildings in Helsinki and Kuopio.
