Unibap has received its first constellation SW order from a European SmallSat provider. The order consists of Services and Annual Software licenses. The initial value to be delivered during 2025 represents 0.2 MEUR, with subsequent Annual Recurring SW licenses estimated in the range of 0.1-0.2 MEUR per year, depending on the expansion of the constellation. The licenses will run for up to 5 years per individual satellite with the expectation that new satellites will be added to prolong the lifetime of the constellation.
The SW product to be delivered is Unibap® LOOM, our new Pre-processing Pipeline for HyperSpectral Sensors. LOOM will run on previously delivered Unibap® iX5 computers to the customer. The Services to be delivered mainly consists of Engineering Support to adopt the standard SW product to the specific sensor used by the customers. LOOM is part of Unibap's strategy of gradual expansion of our SW offering to facilitate High Performance and Easy-to-use in-orbit processing.
- We are grateful to have received the trust from the European SmallSat company to also provide additional SW to their constellation. Our strategy of gradually expanding our SW offering to underpin our value proposition of High Performance and Easy-to-use is taking shape. While we do not foresee a rapid expansion of our Annual Recurring SW license business, this is the first important step on that journey.
