AcadeMedia är verksamt inom utbildningsbranschen. Bolaget driver utbildningsverksamheter och fokuserar på drift av skolor och förskolor. Bolagets verksamhet riktar sig till barn och unga som behöver utbildning och omsorg. Verksamheten är huvudsakligen koncentrerad till den svenska markanden. AcadeMedia grundades 1996 och har sitt huvudkontor i Stockholm.

AcadeMedia has signed a new loan agreement with DNB, Nordea, and SEB to refinance existing loans in an amount of SEK 1,660 million until April 2028 with the possibility to extend until April 2030. The loans are repayable in full at maturity, which will positively impact cash flow by SEK 116 million. In addition, AcadeMedia has further signed a short-term loan agreement of SEK 500 million with Nordea. The loan has a maturity of 1 year with the possibility of annual renewal after credit approval. The new loan agreements will support AcadeMedia's international growth strategy.

 

Following a tender process, AcadeMedia has entered into a new loan agreement with DNB, Nordea, and SEB. The terms of the new agreement are in short:

  • The total loan amounts to approximately SEK 1,660 million, in several currencies, including a SEK 1,100 million of revolving credit facility available for acquisitions or general corporate and working capital purposes.
  • The agreement runs until the middle of April 2028 with the possibility to extend for another two years until April 2030, subject to credit approvals.
  • The loans are repayable at maturity, which will positively impact cash flow by SEK 116 million.
  • The financial covenant net debt/adjusted EBITDA (excluding IFRS 16) remains unchanged at 3.0x. Net debt/adjusted EBITDA (excluding IFRS 16) was per December 31, 2024, 0.6x.
  • Interest expenses are expected to remain unchanged at current interest levels.


In addition, AcadeMedia has entered a short-term loan agreement of SEK 500 million with Nordea. The loan has a maturity of 1 year with the possibility of annual renewal after credit approval.
