Acroud AB (publ) (the "Acroud") announces the resignation of Kim Mikkelsen as chairman and member of the board of directors of Acroud, effective as of today, 12 November 2024. Kim Mikkelsen has held the position of chairman during 2024 and was previously a member of the board of directors between 2020 - 2023. Kim Mikkelsen is stepping down at his own request.
"I have chosen to resign and focus on being investor in Acroud. After the standstill agreement expired, it has become clear that Strategic Investments will be part of a long-term solution for the company, and to manage this role, it is no longer possible to also manage the chairmanship in the board.", says Kim Mikkelsen.
Proposal for a new board member will be presented no later than in connection with the notice for the 2025 annual general meeting.
Peter Åström assumes, with immediate effect, the role of chairman of the board of directors until the next general meeting. Peter Åström has been a board member of Acroud since 2019 and has vast experience from the gaming industry in various operative roles.
