Over the past ten years, coworking company A house has grown into a leading provider of innovative work environments in Stockholm. In 2023, Atrium Ljungberg acquired 50 percent of the company. The partnership is built on a shared vision for workplace development and has paved the way for A house’s expansion to new destinations, including Slakthusområdet, Slussen, and Sickla.
With the opening of its final planned location in Hagastaden in spring 2026, A house will transition from a phase of development and expansion to a more management-focused operation, aiming to strengthen its offerings in the workplace market together with Atrium Ljungberg. As part of this shift, founder and CEO Johan Almquist will hand over his operational responsibilities.
– A house was founded in 2015 on the idea of creating distinctive destinations for creative industries such as music, fashion, and design - places where people and businesses can grow together. Ten years later, it feels both natural and right to pass on the operational baton as we enter the next phase. I’m very pleased to hand over to Mattias, who brings exactly the kind of experience A house needs. I look forward to continuing to work with concept and business development for both A house and Atrium Ljungberg in my new role, says Johan Almquist.
Mattias Celinder has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, with deep knowledge of the office market. He also has a background in hospitality, which provides valuable insights into service and customer experience - skills that will be important as A house continues its growth journey and develops its offering.
