Betolar Plc: Changes in Management Team
Juha Pinomaa, the company's current Head of Asia and Member of the Management Team, is leaving Betolar at the end of year 2022 as planned. Ville Voipio started as Chief Commercial Officer at Betolar in September 2022. In that role he is responsible for the Asia Business as well, when Juha Pinomaa is leaving and taking up new responsibilities outside the Group.
Pinomaa has been supporting Betolar's business growth for four years. He has served earlier as Chairman of the Board and, since last year headed the company's Asia business.
"The past four years at Betolar have been very rewarding as we have moved from product development to a strong commercialization phase. It is great that we have now been able to start commercial operations in Asia, which has been a major milestone for me. Now as the introduction phase is completed, it is the right time to step aside and hand over the Asian operations to our Chief Commercial Officer Ville Voipio. I would like to thank Betolar's Founder Juha Leppänen for the good cooperation during the past years," says Juha Pinomaa.

We have built business capabilities in Europe as well as in Asia, where the construction volume is huge. In addition, Betolar's Founder, Chief Innovation Officer and Board Member Juha Leppänen will focus on supporting Betolar's innovation activities and projects as an advisor as of 1 January 2023. At the same time, Leppänen will step down from the company's operational management and management team, but continues as a Board member.
"Continuing working as an advisor will enable me to focus on speeding up several essential innovation projects of Betolar, as time is freed up from day-to-day operational activities. Also, this arrangement will clarify my role as a member of the Board", says Juha Leppänen.
