Beyond Frames signs a development funding agreement of approximately SEK 18 million and revises cost-cutting targets
Beyond Frames Entertainment has signed a development agreement with an external publishing company for a new game development project scheduled to launch in 2028. Further details about the partnership and the game are undisclosed due to confidentiality agreements.
"This agreement further validates the studio's proven capabilities and industry reputation. As we step into this new project, we're taking everything we've built across previous titles to continue the successive commercial growth of our products and expand our footprint in the XR and adjacent spaces", said Ace St. Germain, CEO of Beyond Frames Entertainment.
The agreed-upon development funding of $1.9 million USD, today valued at approximately 18 million SEK, will be recognized as revenue throughout the project, beginning with milestones in Q3 2026.
As a result of this new funding, Beyond Frames will retain headcount previously planned to be reduced. The total annual cost saving previously communicated was 38-47 MSEK. The new annual cost saving target is now 27-36 MSEK
