The RMI Excellence Awards, handed over during the 13^th RMI Analytics Global Conference in Lisbon, are celebrating innovation and excellence across the malt industry to build a resilient supply chain for the future.

Viking Malt received the award in the category "Smart Investment", for the acquisition of BoMill`s grain sorting solution: BoMill InSight™ and collaboration in malting barley breeding. Both supporting security and resilience of Viking Malt's supply chain and the sustainable use of local barley.

BoMill InSight™ grain sorting system is installed at Viking Malt's facility in Panevėžys, Lithuania. The acquisition marks a further step for Viking Malt in strengthening collaboration across the barley supply chain and underscores the growing importance of advanced grain sorting technology in modern malting.

The BoMill InSight™ system has been successfully integrated into Viking Malt's operations, where it has demonstrated its ability to enhance raw material quality and support smarter malt production.
