Copenhagen, Denmark, 26 May 2025 - Brain+ A/S (Nasdaq First North: BRAINP)
Brain+ A/S ("Brain+" or the "Company"), a pioneer in digital dementia care, has signed its second UK customer agreement with Park Homes UK, a leading care home group, operating 21 care homes across England and Scotland. The agreement initially covers deployment of the Ayla platform, a digital Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) assistant, in four (4) of the group's care homes as part of an implementation and evaluation program. The initial contract value is approximately DKK 68 thousand (£7,600), which covers upfront payment of an annual license to Ayla and training of care staff in each of the four (4) care homes. The contract can be extended to cover all 21 care homes in the group from Q3 2025, corresponding to a total potential contract value of approximately DKK 310 thousand (£34,800), pending a positive outcome of the evaluation program.
Background
Park Homes UK is a high-quality care home group, led by Managing Director Antony Hall, who is former Lead Inspector for the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in London, the independent regulator of all health and adult social care services in England. Under Hall's leadership, Park Homes has demonstrated a strong commitment to care quality and innovation, and Hall's regulatory expertise and insight into best practice standards make Park Homes UK an ideal partner in the early implementation of Ayla and a strong reference customer for Brain+ and its value offerings for better dementia care.
Brain+' agreement with Park Homes UK on the deployment of the Ayla platform follows the release of the CQC's new national report on dementia care, which highlights persistent variation in access to post-diagnostic dementia support and structured therapeutic interventions like Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) across the UK. The report stresses the need for "more consistent training and support for staff" and scalable, evidence-based care solutions - needs directly addressed by Ayla's digital CST delivery model.
Antony Hall, Managing Director of Park Homes UK, said: "Having spent almost a decade inspecting care quality standards across London for the CQC, I am acutely aware of the systemic challenges and opportunities in dementia care. Ayla represents a much-needed step forward - enabling consistent training, outcome measurements for dementia residents and delivery of proven therapies like CST, which too often remain inaccessible across the sector. We are proud to be deploying Ayla in our homes and look forward to what this partnership can deliver."
Key highlights of the agreement
- Strategic entry: Ayla is being deployed in four (4) Park Homes UK care homes across England as part of an agreed implementation and evaluation program with 12 care staff trained by Brain+ in the delivery of CST assisted by Ayla - your CST Assistant.
- Initial contract value and potential commercial uplift: An initial contract value of approximately DKK 68 thousand (£7,600) including upfront payment of annual licenses to Ayla and care staff training with the opportunity to expand coverage across all 21 of Park Homes UK's care homes post-evaluation, giving a total potential annual contract value of DKK 310 thousand (£34,800).
- Leadership validation: The partnership and the Ayla dementia care offering championed by Antony Hall draw on CQC expertise to raise care standards and accelerate innovation.
- Policy alignment: Deployment of Ayla as a certified medical device for high-quality CST delivery for better dementia care supports CQC recommendations for consistent, scalable access to evidence-based dementia interventions.
Looking Ahead
The agreement with Park Homes follows Brain+' recent selection to the NHS Dementia Innovators Program (see Brain+ News Release from 5 May 2025) and the signing of its first UK partnership agreement on Ayla with Southcare Homes Group (see Brain+ News Release from 25 March 2025).
Brain+ is constantly growing awareness and momentum for its dementia care offering among care providers, with customer dialogues continuously advancing across the sales pipeline of 36 UK opportunities, including one of the UK's largest private care home groups. Based on highly supportive customer feedback on Ayla, Brain+ retains expectations to see accelerated contract closings and upscaling through 2025 to reach its target of having Ayla - your CST Assistant implemented in approximately 300 care home sites by year-end and realize more than DKK 3.6 million in cash income.
Ayla is increasingly seen as a business development enabler for care providers to differentiate through best practice in dementia care delivery. Brain+ is committed to building partnerships to support elderly care providers in both the private and public care sector deliver structured, high-quality dementia care aligned with NICE recommendations and growing system expectations for the benefit of people living with dementia.
"Partnering with Park Homes UK is a significant validation of Ayla's strategic relevance in UK dementia care," said Devika Wood, CEO of Brain+. "The endorsement and leadership of Antony Hall - a national voice for quality in social care - further reinforces the credibility of our solution and its potential to deliver measurable improvements in care. We believe this agreement strengthens our commercial momentum and signals strong alignment with current policy imperatives."
