Vishal Shah, a seasoned UK health and care entrepreneur, investor, and non-executive director, joins Brain+ as an Advisor and Board Observer. In this role, Vishal will support the strategic growth and expansion of Ayla, Brain+' cutting-edge dementia care solution, with a primary focus on the UK care home sector. Vishal brings extensive experience in healthcare investment, digital transformation, and operational healthcare in the care sector, making him a valuable addition to the Board of Directors. He is passionate about social care and community engagement, playing a key role in industry leadership through his positions at Care England and Championing Social Care. His commitment to charitable fundraising through adventure further reflects his dedication to supporting communities and improving lives. With the appointment of Vishal, Brain+ strengthens its strategic leadership, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of dementia care innovation, and his expertise in the UK care sector will be instrumental in accelerating Ayla's growth and impact.
Vishal joins at a point in time, where Brain+ is making significant commercial strides in the UK care home market, and next week, the company will provide an update on the status of its sales pipeline along with key performance indicators (KPIs) for 2025.

He is the Founder and Managing Director of Banyan Care, a Board Trustee and Treasurer of Care England-the leading representative body for independent care services-and serves as a Director and Care Ambassador for Championing Social Care. Additionally, he is a Board Member of Log My Care, an award-winning digital care platform. Vishal is an active investor in digital and technological innovations aimed at promoting longer, healthier, and happier lives, and has spoken at numerous industry confer ences on topics such as dementia care, social impact, digital innovation, and longevity investment.
Vishal will be proposed as new board member candidate at the next Annual General Meeting of Brain+ on 29 May 2025. His advisory role has already started with a focus on strategic guidance on the commercialisation of Ayla - your CST Assistant, providing invaluable insights into the UK care home sector to support awareness building, strengthen partnerships, and validate the impact of Brain+' dementia care solutions.
