Bravida is acquiring the company Öbergs Vent Teknik AB, thereby strengthening its position in the ventilation sector in Jönköping. The company has sales of around SEK 57 million and 22 employees.
Öbergs Vent Teknik was founded in 1988 and provides both installation and service in the ventilation sector, as well as special services such as OVK inspections (mandatory ventilation checks). The company is based in the city of Jönköping, and has customers and clients throughout Jönköping County, consisting of both local and national construction companies and municipal housing companies.
"We are very pleased to welcome Öbergs Vent Teknik AB to Bravida. As a result of this acquisition, we can now provide our customers with a complete range of installation services in the Jönköping area. This strengthens our local presence, which is in line with Bravida's strategy," comments Johan Swahn, Regional Manager Jönköping.
The current owners of Öbergs Vent Teknik are CEO Mikael Svensson and Deputy CEO Stefan Lathman. They will both also join Bravida and Mikael will have the role of branch manager. Regarding the sale, he comments:
"Becoming part of Bravida is both an exciting and a big step for us. The company has developed fantastically well over the years, together with its employees and customers. We consider this transition to be a natural step with regard to development and growth, and together with Bravida we now have the opportunity to offer a new and long-awaited comprehensive range of services in the Jönköping area."
Öbergs Vent Teknik AB and Bravida are currently based at different locations in Jönköping, but the plan is to move to joint premises in 2022. Bravida will become the new owner on 1 December 2021.
