Endre O. Sund (b. 1950), Chair of the Board at Capsol Technologies ASA, has notified the Nomination Committee that he will not seek re-election when his term concludes in 2025. Sund has been an integral part of Capsol's growth journey since joining the Board of Directors in 2018 and serving as Chair since 2020.

"Over the past few years, we have commercialized carbon capture technologies that enable emitters to make CCS investments profitable, expanded internationally, and built a mature project pipeline with 15 million tons of annual CO2 capture potential. Earlier this year, we strengthened our leadership team by appointing Wendy Lam, a seasoned global executive with a strong track record of driving growth, as CEO. In June, we successfully uplisted to Euronext Oslo Børs, enhancing our visibility among international investors. By announcing my decision early, I aim to ensure a seamless transition and provide ample time for the Nomination Committee to identify a Chair equipped to lead Capsol into its next phase of global scaling," said Sund.

The Nomination Committee, with support from Capsol's international Advisory Board, will now begin the process of identifying Sund's successor.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership in fast-growing international technology companies, a strong industry network, and the strategic insight to support our management team in scaling Capsol Technologies and driving its global impact," said Jan Kielland, Chairman of the Nomination Committee and member of the Advisory Board.
