Carbiotix (publ) ("Carbiotix" or "Company") announces today that the Company CEO Kristofer Cook has purchased Carbiotix shares for SEK 450,000 between March 25 and April 8 through his holding company Sustainable Holding Sweden AB and has pre-subscribed to purchase a further 550,000 SEK in the proposed rights issue scheduled for the second quarter of 2022. Kristofer Cook has thereby committed to share purchases totaling SEK 1 million before and including the planned rights issue. Kristofer Cook's total holding before the latest acquisition was 2 410 000 shares, corresponding to 19.54 percent. After the acquisition, the holding amounts to 2,448,528 shares, corresponding to approximately 19.85 percent of the voting rights and capital of the Company.

"A decision to increase my position in Carbiotix reflects my continued and growing faith in the Company, especially in light of our recent progress moving towards the commercialisation of our first CarbiAXOS product and the interest shown in the market.
