Careium, the European champion in technology enabled care, has appointed David Granath CFO effective 22 August 2024. David comes most recently from the CFO role at an energy storage company Polarium and was previously CFO at an e-commerce group Qliro Group, both publicly listed companies. He brings international experience from a long career in finance across its multiple sub-disciplines as he started his career at Applied Value, a management consultancy based in the US. David holds a Master’s degree in industrial management and engineering from Linköping University.

“I’m thrilled to welcome David to the team. His impressive experience, knowledge base and leadership mark a major step forward for Careium’s business. I’m proud to see such talent joining the Careium mission of enabling millions to live rich, safe and active lives via technology and always-on human connection”, said CEO Christian Walén.

“I look forward to joining Careium and helping drive the transformation of elderly care. The exciting phase of the company’s development and its broad offering within technology enabled care across Europe make this an ideal next step for me”, said David Granath.

“I sincerely thank outgoing CFO Mathias Carlsson for his hard work in creating the right future for Careium and, in particular, I would like to highlight his success in driving the split and separate listing of Careium”, said Christian Walén. Mathias Carlsson will remain as an advisor for the new CFO until 30 September 2024.
