Following a successful pilot project in Gothenburg, Clean Motion has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Airmee to supply its solar-charged electric vehicle, EVIG, for Airmee's last-mile delivery operations. The stated ambition is to gradually scale EVIG's share of Airmee's fleet. A commercial framework agreement is currently under development in preparation for the first order.
Airmee, one of Sweden's leading last-mile delivery providers with a consumer coverage of 70%, has evaluated Clean Motion's EVIG in daily operations during April and May in Gothenburg. The outcome was positive, validating both the energy- and operational efficiency of the vehicle in urban environments.
"At Airmee, we are constantly exploring smarter, cleaner ways to deliver. Our evaluation of EVIG shows that it meets the operational, environmental, and urban challenges of last-mile logistics ," says Elin Härén, CEO of Airmee.
