Clean Motion AB: EVIG gets a longer range and solar charging on par with grid charging.
Clean Motion launches two options for EVIG: Solar+ which increases solar energy capture to the level that can be obtained from the wall outlet, and Range+ which extends the range to 150 km. As of today, both are available to order.
Solar+ are integrated solar panels on the foldable sides of EVIG's cargo area. When folded up, they increase EVIG's solar output by up to 80 percent compared to today's standard roof. Under good conditions, the panels basically provide the same power and charge at the same rate as conventional charging.
This innovation is another big step toward Clean Motion's vision of truly energy-independent transport solutions in urban environments, with minimal reliance on the electrical grid.

Range+ extends EVIG's range to 150 km, meeting the needs of customers with longer drives and requiring more operational time. Solar+ and Range+ can be combined freely, making EVIG more flexible and reliable for different types of missions.
Starting today, both optional add-ons are available for order. Solar+ and Range+ are the latest steps in the ongoing development of EVIG. EVIG is continuously developed based on how the vehicles are used by customers, where different tasks require different ranges, power supply, and flexibility. By developing EVIG modularly, new features can be added to an already operational platform, allowing both existing and new customers to customize the vehicle to their needs.
With the launch of the Solar+ side-mounted solar panels and Range+, Clean Motion continues to push the boundaries of sustainable vehicle design. The EVIG platform is an unmatched combination of solar charging, modular flexibility, and operational efficiency.
