Clean Motion is launching a new retail concept with its electric vehicle, EVIG-a mobile store on wheels that combines sustainable technology, flexibility, and seamless payment solutions. The first to test this solution is CHIMI, which will allow visitors at the Disrupt Retail conference on August 25-26 to purchase sunglasses directly from the vehicle using self-scanning and payment with Swish.
The debut, presented in collaboration with CHIMI and Swish, gives visitors an opportunity to experience what the future of commerce could look like-mobile, convenient, and sustainable. By combining electric vehicles with digital payment, a customer experience is created that is both innovative, frictionless, and accessible wherever the customer happens to be.
"With EVIG, we aim to create platforms for sustainable urban commerce. Together with Swish, we are demonstrating how technology and mobility can be merged in a format that is both environmentally friendly and commercially relevant," says Christoffer Sveder, Chief Commercial Officer at Clean Motion.
The electric store will travel the streets of Stockholm from August 19-26, parking outside Berns during the conference days, where visitors can purchase CHIMI sunglasses directly from the vehicle-quickly, easily, and without queues using Swish.
"For consumers, the shopping experience is both simple and enjoyable. The customer picks up sunglasses directly from the vehicle, scans the item in the Swish app, pays with Swish, and receives a digital receipt. Everything happens on the mobile phone-no queues or hassle. For retailers, this is a flexible solution that works just as well in a physical store as for a pop-up or event," says Charlotta Lindblad, Head of Marketing & Communication at Swish.
Disrupt Retail, a new conference focused on innovation in retail, highlights future store solutions. EVIG's mobile store is a concrete example of how brands can meet customers in a sustainable and cost-effective way, regardless of location.
"We are seeing a clear trend in international retail with pop-up stores and mobile units enabling brands to build their identity at low cost in unexpected places. This concept fits perfectly with that trend," says Alex Baker, retail strategist and co-founder of the Disrupt Retail conference.
The collaboration between Clean Motion, Swish, and CHIMI demonstrates how commerce can take new forms-combining technology, mobility, and customer experience to create smart store solutions for city environments, events, and pop-up settings.
