EVIG is developed by Swedish company Clean Motion and combines low weight, electric drive, and a roof with integrated solar panels allowing the vehicle to be powered by renewable energy even while driving. This makes it extremely energy efficient, with up to three times lower energy consumption than a traditional electric delivery vehicle.

The pilot project is planned to run throughout the summer in Malmö, where MoveByBike is headquartered. The goal is to assess how EVIG performs in daily operations. The outcome of the pilot will form the basis for future decisions regarding procurement and scaling of climate-smart transport solutions within the company.
