Laboratory Research Functions to be Consolidated in the United States- Liquid Natural Clay Production Engineering to Remain in Norway
Sandnes, Norway, 07 October 2025 Desert Control AS (DSRT) As part of its ongoing efforts to bring more capabilities and focus to its direct operations in the United States, Desert Control announced today that it will close its research laboratories in Norway and expand its research activities in the American Southwest. In doing so, it is Desert Control's aim that its products can be more quickly tailored to local soil conditions and improve results for customers. This move will not impact the engineering teams related to the production of Liquid Natural Clay, which will continue to lead those efforts from Norway.
"As we see increasing demand for both field trials and complete applications from both turf and agricultural customers and collaborators in the United States the difficulties presented in working across different regulatory and time zones has become a significant impediment to our ability to research, design and trouble shoot trials and applications . While we truly appreciate the work of our colleagues on the research team in Norway, it is now apparent that we need to make this move for the benefit of customers and the growth of Desert Control. I thank the team for it work and dedication", said James Thomas, CEO of Desert Control AS.
