Digia Oyj: Oma Häme develops more effective individual service paths together with Digia as the partnership continues under a new development and maintenance agreement
Together, Oma Häme and Digia are building an integrated service package aimed at improving customer service experience, reducing unnecessary service interactions, and strengthening the impact of services. The agreement is valued at EUR 4.4 million.
Oma Häme is responsible for organizing health and social services, as well as rescue and emergency medical services, across the 11 municipalities of the Kanta-Häme region. The wellbeing services county aims to ensure that customers receive the services they need in a timely and seamless manner, regardless of which service they use.
The collaboration between Oma Häme and Digia began in 2022 with the development of digital customer services. In autumn 2025, Oma Häme deployed a solution delivered by Digia, including a customer relationship management and service coordination system as well as an appointment scheduling solution. The overall solution is based, among other things, on Digia's Microsoft-based SOTE 365 product and modern Digipolku solutions.

Oma Häme wants to develop the overall solution in an agile way and improve the service experience for both customers and professionals. The goal is for customers to be guided to the right service more often during their first contact, and for matters to be handled in the most appropriate way. At the same time, unnecessary contacts, duplicate service interactions, and customer transfers from one service to another without added value can be reduced.
"Our objective is that, through the development of service processes and digital services, the need for service interactions could decrease by as much as 15 percent over the long term without compromising service availability or effectiveness. On the contrary, our aim is to provide customers with a smoother individual service path and the right service at the right time," Suihko continues.
