Diös sells 22 residential properties in Östersund and Gävle with a leasable area of 26,000 square meters. The underlying property value is in line with the book value. The transaction is in line with the company's portfolio strategy.

Diös is one of Sweden's largest property owners with a market-leading position in ten growth cities in northern Sweden. The diverted properties are located in Östersund and Gävle and consist of 90 percent residential, an annual rental value of approximately 34 million SEK and an economic occupancy rate of 98 percent. The transaction takes place in corporate form with the usual deduction for deferred tax and will be reported in the second quarter of 2024. The buyer is Runnstaden.
- The divestment creates new conditions for us to focus our portfolio towards commercial properties, and especially office spaces, which is the segment where we see the strongest development and greatest potential in our business. At the same time, we strengthen our financial position. The divested properties are primarily residential properties and we are convinced that Runnstaden is the right company to further develop these, says Annie Franzon, Head of Transactions, Diös.
