Eleda has completed six acquisitions, strengthening the strategic growth areas of railway maintenance, services for power distribution and data centers. Through these acquisitions, Eleda strengthens its leading position in the Nordic region in critical infrastructure. The acquired businesses had a combined turnover of approximately 200 MSEK in 2024, with strong profitability.

“The markets for railway maintenance, services for power distribution and data centers in the Nordics are facing strong and sustained demand growth. All the companies announced today complement our existing operations with unique expertise, both locally and across the Nordic region. We welcome these businesses, their management teams, and employees who create value every day by building and maintaining critical infrastructure together with their customers.” comments Ellinor Thiel, President and CEO at Eleda.

The acquired companies are niche players that complement the more than 50 other businesses within Eleda: Rail Solutions Scandinavia (railway maintenance), Gridtec (engineering consultancy in electric power), QS Konsult (cost control and project management), Voene (traffic safety), Vägservice Centralen i Norden and Frästech (road and bridge maintenance).

“We are the only major player in the Nordic infrastructure services market actively consolidating the sector. We acquire the best players in a fragmented industry and are pleased to welcome these companies to Eleda. We’ve had close dialogues for some time and share values around the importance of decentralization and entrepreneurship, in line with the Eleda model,” says Tobias Andersson, Head of M&A at Eleda.
