Pilbara Minerals (https://pilbaraminerals.com.au/), the world's largest, independent hard rock lithium producer, has ordered a fleet of 14 Epiroc SmartROC D65 surface drill rigs for use at its Pilgangoora Operation in Western Australia. Lithium, a common battery component, is a key mineral to enable society's electrification transition. 

The equipment order was booked in the third quarter 2024. Epiroc will also provide spare parts.
