Etteplan supports the engineering of J5L Production's special vehicles with the AI-based Etteplan LEAN service solution

Etteplan and J5L Production Oy, a manufacturer of special vehicles, have agreed on a collaboration in which Etteplan takes responsibility for coordinating and managing J5L Production's engineering work with the help of the AI-based Etteplan LEAN service solution. The collaboration helps J5L Production respond to increased demand and streamline the organization and execution of its engineering work.
J5L Production Oy, based in Northern Savonia and operating in the Nordic markets, manufactures special vehicles such as ambulances, command vehicles for emergency medical and rescue services, and other vehicles tailored to its customers' needs. The company's order book is strong, and demand for its products has grown significantly. As a result, J5L Production is seeking better management of its engineering work and improved delivery reliability through the collaboration.
In the collaboration, Etteplan brings its strong vehicle engineering expertise to its customer. In vehicle engineering, for example, wiring harnesses are designed for each specific vehicle, and the work requires in-depth knowledge of specialized software and a variety of materials. Etteplan is responsible for managing and resourcing the engineering of J5L Production's vehicles with the help of the AI-based Etteplan LEAN service solution. Etteplan LEAN is a tailored, AI-based outsourcing service that optimizes the order-to-delivery engineering process of industrial companies, covering management, engineering, documentation, and maintenance. When needed, J5L Production's engineering team can be flexibly complemented from Etteplan's extensive network of experts, which helps manage the peak loads associated with fluctuations in demand.
