EliteProspects is a world-leading statistics database and one of the most popular hockey websites in the world. Founded in Sweden in 1999, the website has grown into a recognized encyclopedia for hockey fans all over the world. Over the last three years alone, traffic in North America has grown by more than 100 percent.

In a year where hockey at all levels was struck heavily by the COVID-19 pandemic, EliteProspects has relied on using the hiatus to develop new, unique statistics features and improved content to grow its audience. 2020 also saw the release of EP Connect, an online career suite for hockey players and coaches.

Nearly four months overdue from its original date in June, and held as a virtual broadcast rather than the traditional in-arena event, the 2020 NHL Entry Draft helped elevate EliteProspects to new record levels. The previous record of 1.3 million unique visitors was set in the first week of 2020 on the back of the World Junior Championships. 

Since 2016, average weekly traffic is up by more than 200 percent. EliteProspects.com has since established a North American office in Tampa, FL and solidly expanded its status as a trusted, global platform for hockey fans and industry professionals. Notable recognitions include a content partnership with the National Hockey League and customer relationships with several professional hockey teams. This year, EliteProspects also put out its own NHL Draft Guide, a comprehensive 1 200-page publication which was a massive success with Premium subscribers.
