Freetrailer Group A/S delivered net revenue of DKK 35.7 million in Q1 2026, compared to DKK 28.3 million in the same period last year, corresponding to growth of 26.4%
Freetrailer demonstrates strong momentum with significant revenue growth supported by strengthened partner collaborations, a growing user base, and continued focus on the self-service customer experience. This was achieved despite rental activity being impacted by severe winter weather for much of the quarter, particularly in Denmark, the company's largest market.
Based on the strong growth at the beginning of the year, Freetrailer now raises its revenue expectations for the 2026 financial year to DKK 168-178 million.
Group CEO Thomas Zeihlund comments:
"Q1 demonstrates the strength of our business model and our team. We delivered 26.4% revenue growth in a quarter characterized by low seasonality and severe winter weather, while at the same time making targeted investments in the future of Freetrailer.
With increased focus on our users, demand remains strong, and we are entering the high season with a solid foundation. We continue to see positive trends well into the spring, confirming the strength of our model. As a result, Freetrailer raises its revenue guidance for 2026.
The positive development follows increased efforts and greater investments in the platform, organisation, and the Freetrailer brand. At the same time, we are working closely with our manufacturers to increase capacity, enabling us to deploy more rental products faster and convert demand into continued profitable growth."
Strategic partnerships confirm the quality of the platform
During Q1, Freetrailer continued to strengthen its partner network across markets. At the end of the quarter, the company had 298 partners, and the development confirms the continued interest in Freetrailer among both new and existing partners.
Thomas Zeihlund comments:
"Our growth is driven not only by an increasing number of rental products, but also by a high level of service, strong partnerships, and user experience that customers value. This combination creates a self-reinforcing effect: more users and rentals increase the relevance and value for our partners."
Guidance for 2026 raised
Freetrailer raises its revenue guidance compared to the announcement made in February 2026:
- Net revenue: DKK 168-178 million (17-24% growth compared to 2025)
- EBIT: DKK 20-30 million
The EBIT guidance reflects increased investments in scaling, the development of a new strategy, rising costs related to sales, delivery, and a new product mix, as well as costs related to the CEO transition.
