Unseenlabs extends its existing cubesat constellation.
Today, GomSpace has signed a contract with Unseenlabs to deliver two additional cube satellites to extend the service capacity of the current generation in orbit. The contract value is 2 MEUR (22 MSEK) and delivery of the satellites will be in second half of 2026.
"We are very pleased to see Unseenlabs expanding its business, broadening its market reach, and welcoming more customers to its service offerings. This progress validates what GomSpace has been advocating for the past 17 years: that small satellites are a reliable, efficient, and scalable solution for consistently delivering high-value data to decision-makers-whether in the private sector or government and building successful businesses. Knowing that these two new satellites will support Arctic monitoring and regional stability makes us grateful to be part of this journey," says Carsten Drachmann, CEO of GomSpace.
"As we continue to scale up-both in terms of business and organizational maturity- GomSpace has proven to be a responsive and capable partner, evolving alongside us at the right pace. Given the current global landscape and Unseenlabs strong commitment to serving both existing and future customers, close collaboration with partners like GomSpace is more crucial than ever. These additional satellites will enhance our service availability across several key regions, including the Arctic," says Jonathan Galic, co-founder, President, and CTO of Unseenlabs.
