Mölndal, Sweden, June 7[th], 2022 - Integrum (publ) (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: INTEG B) announces today that the Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, Sweden, has performed its first implant surgeries with the OPRA[TM] Implant System and will continue to offer its patients treatment with the innovative implant technology.

Karolinska University Hospital is one of the world's most prestigious clinical and research institutions, offering state-of-the-art medical care to roughly 1.5 million patients annually. Integrum has worked closely with the Unit for Trauma, Emergency Surgery and Orthopedics, to support and educate the clinical staff on the use of the OPRA[TM] Implant System. This is an important step toward establishing the company's innovative implant technology as a standard of care in patients who have suffered major limb amputation.

"The lack of satisfactory alternatives to maintain mobility and avoid debilitating complications following amputations constitutes significant limitations to the quality of life of our patients. Being at the largest trauma center in Sweden, with a relative high amount of traumatic amputations, as well as leaders in reconstructive extremity surgery, we are therefore happy to be able to offer patients this new, groundbreaking technology," says Gunnar Sandersjöö, Director Unit for Trauma, Emergency Surgery and Orthopedics, Karolinska University Hospital.

"We are making continuous progress in disseminating the use of the OPRA™ Implant system in close collaboration with leading health care providers worldwide, and I am proud to announce that the Karolinska University Hospital has now joined the growing list of top-performing and reputable medical institutions offering our innovative products for patients who have undergone amputation," comments Rickard Brånemark, CEO of Integrum.
