Board Member Mr. Juan Carlos Del Rio takes over as CEO of Inzile with immediate effect. Mr. Juan Carlos Del Rio has an international background with a broad and thorough experience from the US financial markets. His main mission will be to expand the international activity of the Inzile group, with a special focus on QEV Tech Holding, which will be renamed EVI Mobility.Mr.Juan Carlos del Rio will remain Member of the Board.
EVI Mobility is going to develop a new facility for the production, assembly and marketing of the
EVI vehicle, Inzile's new platform, which will be produced in Spain, due to cost efficiency and the high existing Europeanand Spanish subsidies.
QEV Technologies has recently been assigned a EUR 105 millionsubsidy from the European Electromobility Program, of which the majority is non-refundable. Production of the electric light truck Pro4 willremain at Inzile'sfacility in Västervik, Sweden.
Additionally, Mr. Juan Carlos del Rio will be responsible for the area of investorsand global strategy, with support of the current CFO, Mr. Peter Wergens.
Mr. Måns Sjöstedt will, on topof his current responsibility as ManagingDirector of Inzile Sweden, take on the role as COO of Inzile group internationally, as well as beingresponsible for operations, reporting to the CEO.
Through EVI Mobility, Inzile will carry out its international expansion by the creation of EVI Country subsidiaries,with the selection of local partners. The Smart Factory model will allow assembly in each selected country, throughfacilities with the capacity to produce up to a maximum of 5,000 units per country and year.
- In terms of Strategy, as the new CEO,who has been based in New York for many years and EVI Mobilty being internationally based, we shall bring EVI Mobility where Global Finance meets the World, and aim for the company being listed in the USA next year, says Mr. Juan Carlos Del Rio.
