Kebni has received an order for inertial measurement units (IMUs) valued 4.1 MSEK from a leading mining industry company. The tailored IMU, NAV02S, is an updated version of its predecessor NAV02. The new product development has been finalized, including successful operational usage of pre-series units. The client company is a recurring customer of Kebni and deliveries are planned for 2023-2024.
Kebni’s inertial sensing units play a key role for navigation and system safety on the customer’s product range of underground vehicles, where they are installed as a key subsystem on every autonomous vehicle.
“This order, which is the largest received from this customer to date, is the result of close customer collaboration and a testament to Kebni’s proven track record of transforming critical customer needs into reliable solutions” says Erik Winther, Head of Sales.
NAV02S is currently being produced in Kebni’s new production site in Karlskoga, Sweden, alongside other Inertial Sensing solutions.
