With its Veritope molecules, Aegirbio can mimic the proteins that biological drugs bind to and thus detect, in a simple blood test, concentrations of these drugs. Similarly, Veritopes can very accurately mimic the proteins that the body's own immune system binds to in immunity to, for example, Coronavirus after an infection or vaccination.

Aegirbio now has the opportunity to open up a whole new business area in antibody testing against bacteria and viruses by offering accurate tests based on Veritoper's ability to copy the parts of viruses and bacteria that the immune system's antibodies bind to and thus demonstrate genuine immunity to the disease.
