PowerIO, a leading supplier of building automation in Germany, is taking a major step forward in wireless communication by integrating LumenRadio's innovative W-Modbus technology into its product range. Production is underway, with the launch scheduled for the third quarter of 2025. This integration ensures full compatibility with other products that are part of the expanding Wireless Modbus ecosystem.
W-Modbus is a wireless cable replacement technology that enables Modbus RTU communication over a stable wireless mesh network. This technology provides manufacturers with a fast and seamless integration process, contributing to a shorter time-to-market and increased competitiveness. For powerIO, this means that their building automation System will be able to communicate wirelessly with a wide range of other W-Modbus devices. For installers and system integrators, this enables a smoother installation at a significantly lower cost. Eliminating the need for cabling saves both time and money - especially in retrofit projects, where complex wiring often makes installations time-consuming and expensive.
