Mandatum Group's change negotiations that were started in December have now been concluded. As a result of the negotiations, the company will streamline its operations and eliminate overlaps to improve efficiency.
Mandatum started change negotiations on 3 December 2024, with the objective of ensuring more efficient and thereby more productive business. By improving efficiency, it is also possible to ensure competitive prices and scalable growth.
The negotiations have now been concluded, and as a result, the company will centralise similar functions and eliminate overlaps. Direct business-supporting functions are brought closer to the business. In the Retail clients business area, going forward, Mandatum will increasingly centralise new customer sales to its distribution partners.
The negotiations concerned approximately 150 employees. The greatest impacts were related to reorganising operations, but the negotiations also led to changes in the essential terms of employment contracts of seven employees and the reduction of 17 positions.
