To meet the growing demand from the armed forces for the company's products and services, MilDef has now decided to expand its operations by 6,000 square meters in Helsingborg. With this investment in offices, production, warehousing, and a showroom, the headquarters will cover just over 10,000 square meters upon completion. The expansion is expected to be completed in the fall of 2027.
By expanding and connecting the existing premises with an adjacent building, MilDef is creating the conditions for higher production capacity and continued growth. The expansion is being carried out in collaboration with the real estate company Wihlborgs.
"This is a strategically important decision that will strengthen our delivery capacity, enabling us to further support our customers' needs while continuing to deliver a growth rate in line with MilDef's long-term goals. This is the next natural step following last year's launch of our quadrupled integration capacity in Stockholm and yet another milestone in our ambition to support our customers' growing needs," says Daniel Ljunggren, President and CEO of MilDef Group.
MVB will serve as the construction contractor; the company was also involved from the start when the current Fortress facility was built. The new property will provide MilDef with production facilities tailored to its operations, offices, and a new showroom. All with a strong focus on expanded delivery capacity and the employees' work environment.
