The Board of Directors of Nexam Chemicals Holding AB has appointed the current Board member Mats Persson as new Chairman of the Board from November 12, 2019. To date, the Chairman of the Board Lennart Holm has informed the Board that he wishes to resign from the Board due to a lack of time, as he has undertaken a time-consuming commitment outside the company. No other changes to the Board are planned.
"The Board would like to thank Lennart for his commitment and work he has put in as a long-time Chairman at Nexam Chemical. During his years as Chairman, the business has gone through a number of challenging development stages, which created the conditions for today's Nexam Chemical, fast growing and well positioned for continued success, "says incoming Chairman Mats Persson.

As new Chairman, Mats Persson fulfills all the qualifications that can be placed on him in this role and he has also shown an incredible commitment and high work capacity. Mats Persson has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and has a long-time experience from senior management within the chemical group Perstorp and composite manufacturer Diab. At present, Mats has a limited operational interim assignment within Diab. This assignment will be completed during the first quarter of 2020.
