Nexcom is pleased to announce the appointment of Estelle Afshar as its Chief Data and AI Officer (CDAIO), a strategic move to further the company's development of cutting-edge AI solutions. Estelle will play a key role in strengthening Nexcom's AI capabilities, developing proprietary AI-powered solutions, and driving innovation that enhances customer experiences.
With more than two decades of experience in AI, machine learning, and data science, Estelle has an strong track record of leading AI innovation at companies such as Shopify and The Home Depot. Holding a PhD in machine learning, she has successfully developed and deployed AI-powered solutions that have improved e-commerce experiences, driven customer engagement, and advanced personalization and automation strategies. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum, including machine learning, generative AI, recommendation systems, computer vision, predictive modeling, and AI infrastructure.
