Livsvitenskapsbygget will be a joint facility for leading university and hospital environments within life sciences, and will ensure Norway's international competitiveness in the area. Both the University of Oslo and the Division of Laboratory Medicine at Oslo University Hospital will be based here. Substantial parts of the 97,500 square meter building will be research and teaching laboratories with highly advanced equipment.
