Peab has been commissioned to build a new swimming and wellness facility in Skurup. The customer is Kunskapsporten Magistern AB and the contract is worth SEK 155 million.
The new facility will be built on the same site as the existing outdoor swimming pool in Skurup and will give the municipality more opportunities to provide swimming lessons and exercise for residents. The total area of the facility will be 3,300 m2.
"We're proud to have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful sports and leisure activities for the residents in and around Skurup. We look forward to working well together with Kunskapsporten," says Olle Olsson, Region Manager Peab.
The project is a turnkey contract in partnering. Work will start in the spring/summer of 2026 and be completed in the autumn/winter of 2028.
The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2025.
