Perpetua Medical AB: Perpetua Medical's subsidiary ES-Medical reaches agreement with its main supplier and develops next-generation cleaning system for TEE probes
Perpetua Medical AB (publ) ("Perpetua Medical" or the "Company") announces that its subsidiary ES-Medical has reached an agreement with Ecolab, enabling ES-Medical to resume production and sales of its established C10 platform and to develop and commercialize a next-generation cleaning system for TEE probes. ES-Medical has an installed base of approximately 300 systems, primarily in Scandinavia and Central Europe.
Over the years, ES-Medical has developed specialist expertise in the cleaning and handling of transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) probes used in cardiology. The C10 platform was developed for automated cleaning of TEE probes and has been installed in hospitals, primarily in Scandinavia and Central Europe. The current installed base amounts to approximately 300 systems.
The agreement enables ES-Medical to resume commercialization of the C10 platform while continuing to develop the product platform. In parallel, the company is developing a next-generation system that builds on the experience gained from C10 and is designed to meet today's requirements for cleaning, workflow efficiency, traceability and ease of use.
The new product is expected to be introduced to the European market during the first half of 2027, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
