PolarCool AB and Thoren Business School's collaboration continues as the Group's hockey gymnasium in Umeå extends its commercial agreement for another 3 years. The agreement means that the PolarCap® System will continue to be available for the gymnasium.

PolarCool AB (publ) develops and markets the portable cooling device PolarCap® System, focusing on acute treatment of concussive and sub-concussive brain injury. The primary customers are sports clubs and organizations in ice hockey, rugby and handball and other sports with an increased risk of concussion. The order from Thoren Business School is limited in size but shows the adult school segment as a market with great potential.

Thoren Business School in Umeå is part of a school group that runs several hockey gymnasiums in Sweden. The school works actively to ensure the best possible working environment for the students at hockey programs and sees the collaboration with PolarCool as a very important part of this. The agreement also includes an additional education with the aim of raising the level of knowledge about head injuries.

Tomas Sandlin, Head of Thoren Business School's hockey gymnasium, comments;

- The safety of the players is and will always be a priority issue. Being able to quickly alleviate the negative effects of head injuries in the best possible way is very important. We are grateful that this opportunity exists. I am very pleased to continue to have the PolarCap® System in place and have the opportunity to use it should the accident occur to any of our students.

Samuel Holmlund, Principal of Thoren Business School, comments;

- For us at Thoren Business School in Umeå, it is obvious to extend the collaboration with PolarCool. Erik Andersson's commitment in the issue is important and it is also positive that he, as a living example, as we believe in the combination of sport and studies. We now look forward to continued collaboration. We are proud that we in Umeå can drive development and players' safety forward. Our hope is that we inspire other hockey gymnasium in the group and outside to follow our examples.

PolarCool's CEO Erik Andersson comments:

- It is very gratifying that Thoren Business School is extending our agreement. Young adult athletes and women are an important target group and it is important to be able to alleviate the effects of concussions in connection with sports. I see school sports with thousands of gymnasiums, colleges and universities around the world as a very interesting market segment for PolarCool in the future.
