Med-tech company PolarCool AB (publ.) has signed a three-year agreement with the English Championship football club Ipswich Town FC. The club is now incorporating PolarCap® into its medical protocols for the acute management of concussions as part of its efforts to enhance player safety.

Concussions and head injuries are a growing challenge for football clubs at all levels. In addition to the personal suffering of the players, head injuries can lead to longer absences and significant sporting consequences. In recent years, PolarCool has seen an increase in interest from professional football clubs in Europe and has recently signed agreements with some of top European clubs, such as Southampton FC and FC Köln.
