PolarCool AB (publ) develops and markets the portable cooling device PolarCap® System, focusing on acute treatment of concussive and sub-concussive brain injury. PolarCool have recently landed most of its strategic agreements within Europe, yet aims to continue to broaden its presence in the Nordic market.

Aalborg Handball will use the PolarCap® System for the rest of the current season in an initial evaluation period, with the option to continue into a two-year commercial agreement following the evaluation.

Aalborg Handball have a rich history of success in both Danish and European Handball, and the Aalborg brand is one of the most recognized within the Danish sports market. The team have won 6 Danish Championships and 2 Danish Cups. During the 2021 season they reached the final of the EHF Champions League.
